"He Plays the Violin"

HISTORY LESSON: Along with being a terrible public speaker, a resisting writer of the Declaration, and a crippling francophile, Thomas Jefferson loved to play the violin. Of course, years of practice probably paid off and made him quite the talented player, but as a teenager, he is still struggling his way through Do Re Mi.

For the non-french speaking people.

"Dessine-moi comme une de tes filles fran├žaises!" litteraly means "Draw me like one of your French girls!"

Which I find incredibly random (I also lack knowledge in 20th-century movies I guess)

XD

First off, I love your comic!

Second, the way Jefferson's holding the violin, he must be REALLY bad, because he'd only be able to play the open strings that way! (Fingers press down on the strings, so the hand doesn't need to hold the scroll like that)

...now I'm imagining him only playing G, D, A, and E really badly. XD
